David describes himself as crazy and silly with a lot to say - about everything. He is always up for a challenge – he even taught himself to unicycle! He dreams of one day becoming a professional dirt biker. David thrives on pushing himself and trying new things – including academically. Being a joker, sometimes people are surprised that he gets good grades, but David studies hard and likes to excel. He hopes to outsmart the competition.

Allison is sporty, ambitious and well-rounded. She is involved in many extracurricular activities including track and field, football, piano, French, photography and waterskiing. Sam describes himself as hyper, crazy and funny. A natural showman, he would like to be a stand-up comedian or TV host one day. He talks a mile a minute, enjoys public speaking and acting in school plays. He has great team-spirit. Tea is a strong girl with lots of energy. She loves sports like volleyball, basketball, track and field, football, tennis and swimming - and she has a wall of medals to show for it. One day, she would like to compete in the Olympics as the next high-jump record holder. Tea has also considered becoming a teacher. She is really good at math, science and problem solving. She hopes to ace the competition with her athletic skills and brain power.

Eric has many hobbies and interests including art, animals and astronomy. When he is older, he would like to be an astronaut to fulfill his life-long dream to visit Mars. He would also like to volunteer to help animals. He believes his creativity will help him get a leg up on the competition – and maybe, if he wins the college tuition money, get him one small step closer to taking one giant leap into outer space.

Remington is fun-loving and adventurous. She loves to skateboard and has a huge collection of boards at home. She is a big fan of Avril Lavigne and loves to play electric guitar and sing. In the future, Remington would like to be a veterinarian because she loves animals. She is a quick learner and loves to take on new challenges. Living way up in Inuvik with the closest city more than a day’s drive away, Christian is excited about being a challenger because he gets to travel. He excels at sports like wrestling, soccer, volleyball, hockey, track and field and he is awesome on a skateboard. He is a social guy and enjoys meeting new people, but he is also looking forward to the show`s mental challenges because he is a strategic thinker. He is a loyal team member and motivated to do well in the competition.

Bryanne believes that the 12-year-old challengers are just as strong as the older ones. Determined and competitive, she plans to use the skills she honed in running club, swimming and hockey to beat the other teams. When she is older, she would like to be an elementary school teacher. She babysits in her spare time and loves kids. The only thing she is worried about this season is that she will have to eat something gross.

Track and field, hockey, snowboarding, basketball – what sport doesn’t Tanner play? Tanner says that he is a good team leader because he relies on his common sense and encourages others. He loves playing the drums and being in front of an audience. Getting his first drum set was just about the best thing that happened to him. He would like to play professionally one day.

Eric may seem shy at first, but when you get to know him, he is really outgoing. He is on the cross country running team at school and has his 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. One day, he would like to become a teacher. He also has many musical talents. He plays piano, sax, trumpet, baritone and performs in an African drumming group. He is also good at cooperating with other people which makes him an excellent team player.

Shelby is bubbly, friendly and loves to dance. She attends dance class seven days a week and performs regularly with a local dance group. One day she would like to be a professional dancer. If that does not work out, her back up plan is to open a rescue ranch for animals. Shelby is enthusiastic and claims she will try anything once. Lucky for her, there are plenty of new experiences in store this season.

Jumoke is a star athlete and a speedy runner who trains every day. He also plays football, soccer, basketball and volleyball. It is no surprise Jumoke has boundless amounts of energy and team spirit. He also loves memory games, puzzles and is a quick thinker. He says he is afraid of heights, but is not afraid to try new things. He may leave other challengers in his dust.
