Cooler experiences, more drama, crazier twists and a unique online game make for an exciting second season of the hit YTV reality series “In Real Life”.
In season two, 18 new kids, aged 12-14, race across North America to compete in heart-pounding, real world challenges – from high-tech espionage to video gaming – for a chance to win college tuition money and an all expense paid family vacation. Comedian Sabrina Jalees returns as the show’s host, guiding kids through each high-adrenaline challenge. Also new this year, the series introduces “Race to the Finish,” an online gaming extension of the show where kids at home can team up virtually with a real on-air challenger and earn points for them by playing the game. The two challengers who have the most points have the chance to literally get back in the game and compete in an exclusive online webisode bonus finale. Players can access the game through YTV.com and at inreallife.ytv.com.
“In Real Life” premieres Mon., Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on YTV. The series is produced by Montreal-based Apartment 11 Productions and the game is created by Toronto-based digital producer Secret Location.
